Welcome back one and all to one of my exhilarating goals updates! It's been a month since the last time and I almost forgot what these were haha. I made my other life goals in a previous post but these were some of my actionable goals I started in Q4 of last year.

+return to a five day, full day schedule- TBD- still in group therapy

+finish going through boxes from the move- Dec 31, 2021 Not done; will I ever get around to this? Who knows

+finish making my Christmas themed pillow cases & placemats- Dec 22, 2021 got half way there but my handheld sewing machine started to take a shit on me. Will work on it later this year

Blog goals:

+continue to post at least once a week on this blog- ongoing (not as often in December as mentioned in a previous post)

+create IG posts and images on Canva- ongoing creating them as I make posts

+try to post at least 2x/wk on Instagram- starting Dec 6, 2021 (doing my best, hasn't been 2x/wk)

So, from what I could see, it doesn't look like I've accomplished as much as I would have liked this past month. I'm making strides towards my debt which is good but I didn't pay off 2 cards, only one and a good portion of another. There's always room to work on it and hopefully I can continue to make progress as I continue to see what my monthly expenditures look like. I also had my appointment with the maternal/fetal specialist and it was all great news and I felt really reassured about our path to starting a family. My exercise goals are falling a bit short but this is something that I'm working on. I've done it once this week and I'm going to plan on doing a ride tonight. I made it my week's goal in my group therapy that I was going to ride it twice before the next group so I have only a few more days to work towards that.

Last week I just ordered myself a new arsenal of underwear from Aerie, a pair of period underwear from Modi Bodi, and I redeemed two free pairs from Cheek Boss where I just had to pay for the shipping. I just washed everything yesterday and I'm so excited to wear them and I'm definitely going to be transitioning away from Victoria's Secret underwear, so I'm going to work on purging my collection of underwear and start clearing out room to accommodate my new pairs. I also need to do this with sock since I always manage to accumulate 4-10 pairs of socks every year for Christmas. I have a harder time getting rid of socks but the amount of pairs that I have it absolutely ridiculous. I could probably wear a new pair every day for a few months without having to wash them. So given these, this will be part of my next round of purging and also going through my pants/shorts again to see what still fits and what can be put in the pile to post on Poshmark.

Alas, I still have some of the random odds and ends boxes that have remained untouched from our move. They have been hidden away in an out of sight, out of mind fashion and I really need to clear that up so I can make room to store the great amount of holiday decor I bought over the past few months. (always accumulating new shit, am I right??)

My sewing projects are on hold at the moment. I know I need to finish my Christmas placemats but I don't know what my sewing machine is doing and it's being a pain in the ass. I've lost my motivation for sewing at the moment but I have some hemming projects for my MIL I'll need to work on before the weather warms up again.

Lastly are my updates for this blog and my associated Instagram profile. I have been lacking some inspiration as I've touched on previously but I've been doing my best with trying to bring more a presence to my IG accounts and increase the amount of times I post on all three of my accounts. (yes I have three, don't @ me. -personal, cats, blog) I want to work on gaining exposure and increase the number of readers from non-existent to at least a few. Maybe that will be a goal for the year? Try and get 10 unique visitors to my blog in 2022. We'll see how it goes. I have a really weird mental block when it comes to social media. I look at it daily but I usually would only post on my personal account once every couple months. I would post the cats a little more often but still not as much as I would like if I'm trying to build an audience. The babies deserve to be adored by others! I can't get followers/readers if I don't stay active so that it something I'm working on slowly. I just never understood posting on social media daily. No one wants to see my face that often and I don't really do many things worth taking pictures for but I'll need to work on that.

That wraps it up for this installation of my goal updates. I'll probably check on them in another month or so and see if I have any new contributions to mention but lord only knows what I will be capable of doing.

If you made it to the end, thanks for reading and I hope I haven't bored anyone to tears and deterred you away from the blog.

Love ya!
